Granny's Funeral - Paso Robles Sept. 15, 2008

We all made the trip to celebrate Mike's Grandma's 97 years on this earth. She left a long legacy. Her husband died just 4 years ago. They were married for 73 years. Mike and I also share their same anniversary. These are just a few family pics from the trip.

Such a cool bench to take photos. I love how you said, "to celebrate Mike's Grandma's 97 years on this earth." What a cool way to say it.

Those are really good pics of you guys - I especially like the one of you and Mike! We did celebrate her life didn't we. It's kind of weird not feeling sad about her passing, I've never had this experience before. But I know she's lived a good, long life and was so ready to go.

We were just talking about Mike's Grandma with my cousin's husband's mom. Helen Crump. I guess they all grew up together or something. She knew Mike when he was younger. She was asking about Mike. Uhm I totally forget her maiden name. She might totally have the wrong family . . . I don't know but you can check out pics of her on my cousins blog if you want. I think she wanted to try and get in touch with Mike's parents.
